Ingredients

  • 4 oz. plain flour
  • ¼ teasp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ pt. milk or milk and water
  • 1 lb. sausages
  • 1 tablesp. cooking fat

Method

Make a batter with the flour, salt, egg and milk, and leave to stand for ½ hr. Heat the fat in a Yorkshire pudding-tin, skin the sausages, put the sausages in the hot fat, pour the batter over and bake in a hot oven (425° F., Gas 7) for about 30 min.
