DON’T LET THE SIMPLICITY OF THIS DISH FOOL YOU. THE COLOURS ARE A FEAST FOR THE EYES AND THE SWEETNESS OF THE ORANGES ARE HEAVEN IN THE MOUTH. THERE IS ALSO THE OPTION FOR DECADENCE BY ADDING LIQUEUR.

Ingredients

  • 6–8 oranges
  • 2 Tbsp castor sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1 tsp <

Method

  1. Peel, remove the pith and slice the oranges.
  2. Sprinkle over the castor sugar or sugar substitute and ground cinnamon.
  3. Pour the liqueur over (if using) and place in the fridge for about 1 hour.
  4. Just before serving, scatter the pomegranate arils over and garnish with the mint leaves.
