A Baltic Wreath

Wreaths feature in the folklore of the Baltics and beyond, so when I came across a wreath of starters in a cutting-edge Lithuanian restaurant it struck a deep emotional chord. I decided there and then that this was the perfect symbol of Baltic cuisine: modern and unique, yet deeply rooted in tradition.
