    • About

DIY is not my strong point, so if I can build a mini-smoker, anyone can! All you need is an old biscuit tin, a small metal rack that will fit inside the tin, some foil and wood chips. (I like to use birch-wood chips because my Grandma Halinka instilled in me a love of the birch tree, which is considered to have ‘good energy’ in Lithuania, where she grew up.) Line the biscuit tin with foil — this makes it easier to clean afterwards — then scatter a large handful of wood chip
