This malty and moreish ice cream is the ultimate fuss-free dessert. Delicious on its own, it’s even better with a crunchy topping, like hemp butter or rye breadcrumbs toasted with brown sugar and cinnamon, and it also goes beautifully alongside any warm cake or crumble. Try it with Rhubarb & rose meringue tart, as in the photograph here. You don’t even need an ice-cream maker or to stir it while it’s freezing — the condensed milk takes care of the whol
