Nut Lace Cookies

These thin, lacy cookies are perfect to serve with ice cream or fruit desserts. It is hard to believe, with their thin elegance, but they are the easiest of cookies to make; the ingredients are stirred together, dropped by teaspoons on to a baking sheet, and the hot oven quickly does the rest.
