A traditional cóctel de camarón is already a perfect food, but if you want to shake things up a bit, grilling the shrimp instead of poaching it in liquid adds an enticing smokiness. Using orange-flavored soda adds a sweet and tart flavor. It is actually one of those old-school “secret” ingredients used in shrimp cocktails usually served in the inland regions of Mexico.
