Chamoy is a thick, sour, and spicy fruit sauce possibly with Asian origins. It goes really well with sliced fruit, Mexican paletas, or sorbet, and can enhance beer or cocktails. It was originally made from salted or dried fruit. Somewhere along the way, it was watered down until most of the bottled stuff is not made from any fruit at all. This recipe is our ode to OG chamoy.
