Yoyos

Janet Macdonald has been making yoyos since she was in primary school. But her early attempts bore little resemblance to the dainty, perfectly shaped morsels that she makes today and wraps individually in tissue paper so they arrive at the show judge’s bench in mint condition. The old-fashioned buttery favourites, also known as melting moments in some states, have been consistently winning her first prizes, and even best exhibit, for more than twenty years.
