In the middle of summer, fresh Georgia peaches are always on my mind. It’s difficult to miss peaches at that time of year–they are abundant in big baskets in roadside stands all over Savannah. This juicy peach pie is the easiest recipe I can think of when I want a peach fix. But no matter how hard I try, I just can’t wait for it to cool–I like a warm slice with vanilla bean ice cream.
