Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespo

Method

In a medium heavy saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and honey and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Reduce the heat to medium-low, add the lavender and cardamom, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally so the bottom of the pan doesn’t scorch. Remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature.
