Adding a touch of sweetness, a touch of smoke, and additional fat to mayonnaise makes it a delicious spread for a BLT, turkey sandwich, or as a dip for crispy French fries. Try this version when you don’t feel like making my Bacon Mayonnaise from scratch.
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, maple syrup, bacon fat, and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld. The mayonnaise will keep, tightly covered in the refrigerator, for up to 1 week.
