Blueberry cobbler goes to a new level when cooked in the smoker (stay away from hardwoods like mesquite, though; that can make your cobbler bitter). This is one of the first desserts I ever smoked in my backyard, and it’s easy to do in a cast-iron skillet. You can copy this exact recipe and substitute different fruits to have smoked peach cobbler, smoked blackberry cobbler, etc. For an added bonus, serve warm with a scoop of dulce de leche ice cream.
