Mexican hot chocolate isn’t exactly like the cup of cocoa you’re used to around the holidays. It has cinnamon and Mexican vanilla for depth, and a hint of cayenne for a little kick. This recipe takes everything about hot chocolate to another level with fresh pecans and nutmeg. This is one of our most popular desserts at the restaurant and it’s simple to make. For even more flavor, pop it in the smoker at 225°F (107°C) for 10 to 15 minutes before putting it into the oven!
