The classic rum drink of the fifties. To make a Dark and Stormy, use dark rum and ginger ale.

Ingredients

  • 1½ ounces good-quality rum
  • ½ cup Coca-Cola, or to taste
  • Zest and juice of

Method

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour over them the rum, Coke, and lime juice; stir in the zest.
  2. Garnish with the slice of lime.
