Cream cheese frosting is my favorite style of frosting. It’s less sweet than buttercream and the tanginess really contrasts well with sweet cakes, and especially with cinnamon rolls!
Ingredients
226grams (8ounces) full-fat cream cheese, room temperature
At least 1½ hours before making the frosting, take the cream cheese and butter out of the refrigerator to soften at room temperature. (I find cream cheese takes a very long time to come to room temp.)
