These tangy, creamy “cheese balls” are made by shaping well-drained yogurt into spheres and coating them with za’atar, an earthy herb blend. Slather this traditional middle eastern spread on warm pita or baguette slices and serve with a bowl of marinated olives.
Dampen a thin dish towel with cold water, wring it out, and drape it in a bowl, with the ends overhanging the sides. In a separate bowl, combine the yogurt and salt and mix well.
