Prunes

Ingredients

  • 4 prunes, pitted
  • 80 ml ( fl oz) cherry vinegar
  • 50 g ( oz) poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon grated nutmeg

Method

Soak the prunes in the cherry vinegar overnight. Combine the poppy seeds, cinnamon and nutmeg. Warm the prunes through in the cherry vinegar and then drain and coat them gently in the poppy seed mixture.
