In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the confectioners’ sugar and vanilla. In heavy medium saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from the heat and immediately whisk in the heavy cream. Whisk for 1 minute.
