  • About

Young Barossa Valley winemaker Carol Riebke wins prizes for her expertise with grapes, but not in the way you might expect. One of the youngest cookery convenors in South Australia, she competes in every class at the Angaston Show as long as the February event doesn’t coincide with an early vintage. She even baked the year she gave birth to her son just four days before the show.

Of German descent, Carol grew up on a family vineyard at Angaston and became winemaker
