I grew up with an addiction to beach snacks. Among my favourites was biscoito globo, a round yucca cracker about the size and shape of a bagel. The flavour is quite mild, but it’s the light crunchiness that draws munchers. These are sold in supermarkets in Brazil with lots of variety in shape but little in flavour.
