One of the most rewarding aspects of cooking is creating new recipes by taking flavours that work well in a classic dish and cooking them with another technique. With this soup I rethought the flavour combination of yucca and coconut. This combination could not be more classically Brazilian, but it is rarely served as a soup. The yucca really strikes an earth tone in a way that no other root vegetable can achieve. The coconut milk adds a creamy texture that comes without any cream at all. T
