Based on egg yolks, coconut milk and sugar, this classic sauce, when served by itself, was among my favourite childhood treats. Like a crème Anglaise, Baba de Moça is a very versatile sauce - I serve it with coconut mousse, chocolate cake and many other desserts. I hope you will find many uses for this recipe, but don’t feel guilty sampling it straight from the spoon.
