Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated fresh coconut (about 1 coconut)
  • ½ cup sugar

Method

In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the coconut, sugar, and raisins and cook over medium-low heat, stirring until the sugar is melted. Remove from the heat and cool.

When the mixture is cool enough to handle, form it into balls about the size of a whole walnut and place them on a lightly oiled cookie sheet.

Place the chocolate in the top part of a double boiler and melt
