  1. Sift the flour, salt and sugar into a large bowl and make a well in the centre. Heat the milk to warm, stir in the yeast and 1 tablespoon of the flour until dissolved, then leave to stand until bubbles form. Add to the dry ingredients and bring together to form a soft dough, then tip out onto a floured work surface and knead for 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Trans
