If gluten- and wheat-free bread is part of your dietary requirements, this bread is perfect. Depending on your machine and the length of the gluten-free cycle, this recipe may produce a lighter loaf on the white/basic setting.

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp sunflower oil

Method

  1. Put the egg(s) in a measuring jug (cup) and add sufficient tepid water to give 460ml/16½fl oz/scant 2 cups, 560ml/1 pint/2⅜ cups, or 660ml/23½fl oz/generous 2¾ cups, according to the size of loaf you are making.
