  • About

This delicious tea-time bread can be served sliced and buttered, or toasted first. Use other dried fruits and nuts instead of sultanas and pecan nuts, if you like.

Ingredients

Small

  • 140 ml/5 fl oz/ cup milk
  • 150

Method

  1. Pour the milk and water into the bread machine pan. Add the egg(s), maple syrup, sunflower oil and vinegar. If the instructions for your machine specify that the yeast is to be placed in the pan first, reverse the order in which you add the liquid and the dry ingredients. Check with your manufacturer’s instructions as you may need to add the water first for the gluten
