Baked Ham Sandwich

Though a ham sandwich made with good-quality deli sliced ham isn’t bad, the best is made with a home-baked smoked ham. In New York, my friend Ann Nurse is the acknowledged queen of the baked ham, although she imports her ham from North Carolina.
