This is a very old English dish and a very good way of stretching a single egg round the whole breakfast table.
Cut the bacon into little strips or squares. Make a pancake batter in the normal way, start with the flour in a bowl, then stir in the egg and lastly add the milk gradually stirring and beating as you do so, until you have a smooth lump-free batter. Season it very lightly as the bacon is salty.
Fry a quarter of the strips of bacon gently, until they are crisp, in a small frying pan. Pou
