  • About

One of the first ways people cooked eggs was by baking them whole in the ashes of the fire. Or they were fried in fat in a container of some sort, probably much as they are today. But what makes the perfect fried egg? Every book you read will give you a different recipe, some telling you just to use lard for frying, or groundnut oil, bacon fat, butter or a combination of all. Some like their eggs sunny side up, others like them turned. At the end of the day, it’s up to you.
