It’s actually very easy to make these doughnuts and there’s no going back once you’ve tried the pillowy little balls tossed in honey. Enjoy them with a coffee, serve them for dessert or up the quantity and impress your guests at your next party!
Put the milk in a saucepan with 125ml water and heat to just under body temperature (make sure it doesn’t go above 36°C). Pour into a bowl and whisk in the sugar and yeast until the mixture foams slightly, then leave in a warm place to prove for 20 minutes.
