A fig sour, this is one of the best sours we serve at Brother Marcus. The fig liqueur and vanilla have a velvety sweetness, with a little sharpness from the lemon juice: a perfect finish to brunch!

Ingredients

  • 60 ml vodka
  • 50 ml fig liqueur
  • 30 ml

Method

Put the vodka, fig liqueur, vanilla syrup, lemon juice and egg whites into your Boston shaker. Give this a good dry shake (with no ice) to make it foamy. Fill the two glasses with ice, then add ice to the shaker as well and shake hard again. Double strain into the glasses and pop the fig slices on top.
