Fresh herbs and a hint of cheese make these scones a good partner to soup or a salad.
Stir the flours in a mixing bowl with the baking powder and salt(s). Cut then rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Set aside one quarter of the herbs and the cheese and stir in the rest with the egg liquid to form a soft dough.
