A single-mix teabread, easy enough for children to prepare. Serve sliced with butter or soft cheese.
Measure all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir for 1–2 minutes until well combined. Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and smooth level.
Bake in the preheated oven until a wooden skewer comes out clean from the centre. Cool the loaf in the tin for 5 minutes then turn on to a wire rack.
