A coffee-rich chocolate cake for mocha fans, filled with coffee cream and covered in melted chocolate and a handful of chocolate coffee beans.


  • 60 g / 2 oz cocoa powder
  • 300 ml / 10


Blend the cocoa powder with half the hot coffee until smooth. Set aside the rest of the coffee to cool. Add the butter and sieved sugar and beat the mixture together using an electric hand-held mixer until smooth and light. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating each in well. Gradually stir in the flour sieved with the baking powder.
