Star-shaped biscuits are usually reserved for Christmas, if you make a small hole in each one before baking, they can be tied on to the tree with ribbon.

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 175 g / 6 oz icing sugar

Method

Whisk the egg whites with the sieved icing sugar in a mixing bowl set over simmering water until the mixture is thick and foamy.
