You can’t make a Margherita Pizza without it, and it is a good friend to the Hawaiian Pizza, Stir-Fry-Style Pizza, and, of course, the classic Pepperoni Pizza. Consider freezing it in ¼-cup (60-ml) portions for convenience. Crushed tomatoes make a smooth marinara that spreads evenly over the crusts.
