Are these the best meatballs anywhere? I certainly think they rank right up there with some of the finest versions in Mexico. They’re very meaty and the combination of beef, pork, and veal gives them a rich flavor. A friend of my mom’s from Milan, who was a wonderful cook, taught me how to make meatballs and I use her secret recipe along with a few secrets of my own. Meatballs around the world are a popular comfort food and are often served in broth or soup in Mexico.
