Make a caramel with the sugar and water. Remove from the heat and stir in the Malibu.
Stir well, returning to the heat if necessary to dissolve any crystals that may form. Let cool while you assemble the kabobs.
Skewer the fruit, alternating the varieties, then arrange the kabobs on a serving plate. Drizzle over the caramel and serve with
