Ingredients

  • 4 apples (Golden Delicious, McIntosh...), peeled, cored, and cut in quarters, or 2 small jars unsweetened applesauce

Method

Put the apples in a saucepan with a splash of water.

Cook, covered, until soft, about 10 minutes. Purée in a blender, or push through a sieve, and let cool.

Put the prunes in a saucepan with a little water.

Cook, covered, for about 5 minutes or until soft.

Purée in a blender until smooth, or push through a sieve.

In 4 sundae glasses, arrange alternate lay
