Most West Indians eat their meat well done, but you should cook this dish to suit your own taste. Whichever way, the recipe is quick and easy.

Ingredients

  • 4 rib eye steaks, (175–250 g/6–8 oz each)
  • 1 tsp

Method

Mix together the ingredients for the marinade and use to season the steaks. Allow to marinate for at least 2 hours.

Melt the butter or margarine in a large skillet and fry the steaks on both sides for about 5 minutes for rare, 8 minutes for medium and 10 minutes per side for well done. Remove, place on a plate and keep warm.
