This is a good example of how the same idea results in different recipes from island to island. This was certainly the original orange soup, which turns up in Grenada transformed into Jellied Orange Consommé.
1¾pintsrich chicken stock, clarified and well seasoned
Combine the chicken stock, orange juice and cloves in a saucepan, cover and bring to a simmer over very low heat. Simmer for 2 or 3 minutes. Strain into bouillon cups and garnish with the orange slices. The soup may be served chilled.
