In a large bowl combine the onion, paprika, curry powder, ginger, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice and oil. Add the lamb cubes, mixing thoroughly. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

Drop the onions into boiling water and simmer for 5 minutes. Drain, and when cool slip off the skins. Wrap the bacon pieces round the pieces of pepper. Drain the marinated lamb and seasonings. Thread t
