Wash the okras, cut off stems and slice crosswise, about ¼ inch thick. Bring the water to the boil, add salt and okras and cook, covered, for 10 minutes. Add the corn and cook, stirring, until the mixture is thick and creamy. Stir in the butter and serve hot.
