  • 4 large bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise
  • 4 oz. brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons

Method

Arrange the bananas in a well-buttered shallow fireproof serving dish. Sprinkle with the sugar, lime juice, half of the rum and the allspice. Dot with the butter. Bake in a 400°F (gas 6) oven for 15 minutes, basting 2 or 3 times during the cooking. At th
