  • 2 oz. unsalted butter
  • 6 large bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
  • pint


Heat the butter in a flameproof serving dish and sauté the bananas until they are lightly browned on both sides. Combine the cane syrup, wine, and cinnamon in a saucepan and heat through, stirring to mix well. Pour over the bananas and simmer over very low heat for 15 minutes.
