  • 2 oz. brown sugar

Method

Mix the cassava meal, sugar and coconut thoroughly. If the cassava and coconut are freshly grated no liquid is needed. Otherwise the mixture should be moistened with enough water to make it handleable. Grease a heavy, 10-inch skillet and when it is hot enough for a drop of cold water to sputter, add the cassava mixture, patting it down evenly. Cook over fairly brisk heat for about 1½ minutes, t
