Ingredients

  • 6 whole tamarinds, shelled
  • ¾ pint water
  • 2 oz. sugar</

Method

Soak the tamarinds in the water for 30 minutes. Add the sugar, stir to dissolve and let stand 5 minutes longer. Strain and chill thoroughly. Serve over ice cubes in small tumblers.
