This salad contains fire-roasted tomatoes, sweet char-grilled pineapple, and an herby dressing that embodies the taste of the Caribbean. Kale got popular and then died out, but it will always be a kitchen essential to me. This is what happened between kale and me in the beautiful island of Barbados.
