Pâté en Croûte

I love a Gala pie. It’s supermarket deli-counter genius food, and as kids we used to eat it all the time as part of a ploughman’s-type dinner. Growing up in the kitchen I eventually realised that while pâté en croûte sounds fancy it is basically the same thing. It takes a bit of skill to make but ultimately is worth the hassle, so set aside a bit of time and enjoy the process.
